Denny qualified right in line with his Gibb’s team mates in 36th position. Joey Logano and Kyle Busch followed him in line with 37th and 38th position.

The Gibbs cars are following their usual trend of being slow in qualifying and fast in the race. They always find their way to the front by the end.  This might even work in their favor, now all three of them can hang back and avoid the “Big One”.
