Denny Hamlin and the #11 FedEx Office Team had a very very strong race car today that was capable of winning. Unfortunately fuel mileage would come into play at the end and cost Denny a for sure top 3 finished.
Dover has typically been a tough track for Hamlin. With only two top 5s at Dover in his career, the stats go to prove it. Darian Grubb and the #11 team brought a new setup to the track, one Darian told Denny should make him alot more comfortable.
The setup proved to be very comfortable for Denny as he led in the beginning and ran second for the rest of the day behind Kyle Busch. Denny began to run Kyle down at the end and was clearly the faster car, but unfortunately had to pit for fuel putting him at an 8th place finish.
