Denny has an extremely fast car at Watkins Glen this weekend. Joe Gibbs racing built all new road course cars this season that are proving to be fast.

Unfortunately Denny spun during qualifying putting him in the 42nd starting position. Denny commented that he wasn’t going to lay back like he usually did, and tried to get everything he could from the car. Denny had a pole lap going before the spin.

Denny is extremely confident that they’ll still come back with a good finish tomorrow, because the car’s so fast.
