After going out 8th this morning in Qualifying, Denny laid down a solid lap that would secure him a 6th place starting spot in tomorrow’s race. Denny didn’t have any seat time in Qualifying trim, and had to go out and Qualify all but blind folded.

Of course Denny came through and laid down a lap that many thought would be the pole run. Although not a pole run Denny still has a great starting spot, but what’s even better is the #11 FedEx racing team has the car handling well in race trim. Denny had the 2nd best average lap times at Pocono meaning the 11 car will be extremely fast in the race tomorrow.
