Denny Hamlin had a tough day at Bristol Motor Speedway after an early accident caused by Jeff Burton, forced Denny to spin and get hit in the Left Rear.

Early in the race Jeff Burton slowed up on the high side which caused a bunch of cars to pile in to him. Denny trying to miss the wreck, got on the brakes hard and spun. Denny did a magnificent job of keeping it off the wall, but unfortunately would get hit in the Left Rear by David Reuttimen.

This ultimately killed Denny’s chances at winning and getting a good finish for the day. Denny held on and kept fighting for everything he could get. Denny took his car to the garage to get some work done, and ended up 12 laps down in 33rd Position at the end of the race.
